Natural Selection is when a trait becomes more common than the other it will then be passed on by generation. Is an example of giraffes, when giraffes have short necks it is harder for them to eat from the tall trees.
But for the long necks it is easier because they can reach the tallest trees.
But short necks cannot be easily seen by predators and long necks can.
So for both is a 50-50 but long necks is more common because they survive more than the short necks.
